Candidate must have prior knowledge of safe use of crane, must be familiar with lifting operations and must not have literacy challenge in any form.
Course Objective
At the end of the training, delegate shall have the knowledge of: Regulation, Standard and
- Regulation, standard Practice Governing the lifting Equipment inspection practice.
- The roles and responsibilities/duties of a person-in-charge.
- How human factors can affect lifting operation.
- Common crane hazards and how to overcome them.
- The principle of crane operation, lifting principles and load chart
- Job site planning and pre-lift job safety.
- Rigging hardware, hardware identification, inspection and inspection criteria for rigging hardware.
- Slings/Hitches and their application
- Basic hand signal and personal transfer system.
