Banksman & Slinger Course Description. This course is designed to reduce the risk associate with lifting operations by identifying their own and others responsibilities for inspecting, assessing, selecting, and controlling lifting operations to the legal requirements.

Course Objective

• Demonstrate competency of the use of lifting equipment safely in attaching loads correctly in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines
• Know load weight interpretation in relation to industry standards
• Confidently conduct the pre-use inspection for different lifting gears

Candidate are assessed both theoretically and practically in the course of the training against the training against the perquisite course
